Decoration Guidance

At Basic Brands, we offer a wide range of professional imprint methods to put your brand to work. Choosing the right decoration method depends on the product material, your artwork, and your brand aesthetic.

Embroidery

What it does: Your logo is stitched directly into the fabric using high-quality threads.

Best for: Polos, hats, toques, jackets, and corporate apparel.

Considerations: Offers a premium, durable finish. Cannot reproduce photographic images, tiny text, or smooth color gradients. Vector artwork is preferred for digitization.

Screen Printing

What it does: Ink is pressed through a woven screen stencil directly onto the garment.

Best for: T-shirts, hoodies, and tote bags in large quantities.

Considerations: Highly cost-effective for large runs. Best for bold designs with solid colours.

DTF & Heat Transfers

What it does: Your design is printed onto a specialized film and heat-pressed onto the product.

Best for: Performance wear, activewear, complex full-colour logos, and bags.

Considerations: Excellent for capturing fine details and full-colour gradients that cannot be screen printed.

Laser Engraving

What it does: A laser etches your logo into the surface of the product, revealing the material underneath.

Best for: Stainless steel water bottles, travel mugs, metal pens, and premium tech accessories.

Considerations: Creates a permanent, subtle, and highly professional tonal look. Does not use colour.

Full-Colour Printing

What it does: Digital printing applied directly to the product surface.

Best for: Signs, banners, table covers, media walls, and event displays.

Considerations: Perfect for vibrant graphics, photography, and complex gradients on rigid or large-format materials. Ensure artwork is high resolution (300 DPI) or vector format.
